Since its establishment in 1970, our institution has been much more than a college—it has been a dream, a promise, and a lifeline for girls in a region where educational opportunities for women were once scarce. What began as a humble initiative has today blossomed into a vibrant sanctuary of learning and empowerment. Every brick of our campus carries the stories of courage, determination, and transformation of thousands of young women who stepped in with hopes in their eyes and left with wings to fly.

As the first women’s college of this region, we have upheld a legacy that touches both the mind and the soul. With nearly 10,000 students, our college resonates with the energy of dreams unfolding every day. Through our diverse Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Vocational Programs (BBA & BCA) including specialized courses like Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics—we strive to provide every girl a platform to explore her strengths, shape her identity, and prepare for a promising future.

Beyond academics, the vibrant co-curricular life of our college—NSS, NCC, cultural clubs, sports, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops—instills leadership, self-confidence, and a deep sense of belonging. Our library of more than 20,000 books, modern laboratories, digital facilities, and spacious auditorium together enrich every moment of a student’s journey.

We also take pride in hosting an IGNOU Study Centre, widening the doors of higher education for those seeking flexibility and lifelong learning.
